HEY, GUYS I'VE STARTED TRAINING IN BJJ LATELY. I HAVE A TEACHER WHO COMES TO MY HOME WITH ALL OF HIS OTHER STUDENTS AND WE HAVE A REALLY NICE TIME TOGETHER TRAINING HARD BECAUSE ALL OF US DREAM TO GO TO UFC OR SFL ONE DAY. MY TEACHER HAS BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH ME LATELY, ESPECIALLY MY ''ARM TRIANGLE CHOKE''. SAYS, WHEN I DO THAT MOVE ,I TAKE IT TO THE LEVEL OF PERFECTION, I ALSO FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR MOVE AS WELL AS THE ''TRIANGLE CHOKE'' FROM THE FRONT WITH THE LEGS. BUT' I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE REGARDING THE ART OF SUBMITTING AN OPPONENT , THAT IS, IF YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN ANY KIND OF SUBMISSION-WRESTLING. PLEASE GUYS REPLY SOON .I'LL BE WAITING AS I'M A NEW STUDENT IN BJJ.

Tried wrestling my dad once. I almost had him in a chokehold, but he flipped me over his head and my leg hit a table. I was unable to move s well and he got me in a armbar and I lost.

i always find arms are the easiest to pick off and put into holds
if they get to preoccupied with protecting their arms from a hold it leaves their neck open for a chokehold

Sorry dude but take it from a guy who trained in Judo for 4 years and competed in it on a reasonably high level. The arm triangle isn't that impressive. It is the easiest arm lock there is because it doesn't require that much control or skill to perfect. It is a good style but don't think you are a master just because you know a very simple lock.

I'm not saying you can't make someone tap with the Arm Triangle, it's just that it is such an easy move to do. I saw a fighting doc where they taught a chimp it.

Considering I haven't been training Judo for 5 years you probably would if you are active in a martial art. :jeritroll:
