“Abigail is alive and she is dying to meet you.”
Bray has been hinting that Abigail may end up coming out in the "flesh" and once again, just like last year, it is being speculated on if they will do it and who will play the role of Abigail. Below are some of the ideas from Forbes...
Paige. As a goth-adjacent woman with a skin tone that borders on cadaver, Paige has always made sense as a Sister Abigail character. The problem with this scenario is Paige is far more marketable as her already established wrestling character, a beacon of controversy that will be the subject for the forthcoming biopic Fighting with my Family.
Nikki Cross. Nikki Cross has a rebel, oddball gimmick similar to that of Paige, but benefits from a lack of exposure to the mainstream audience. For all WWE fans care, WWE could roll her out with half of her name missing as it has done for many talents like Elias and Big E. Currently in the midst of a major War Games storyline, however, it’s tough to imagine Nikki crossing over to the main roster anytime soon.
Sage Beckett. Sage Beckett is doing her best job as a red herring, tweeting out cryptic messages designed to bait dirtsheets into reporting Sister Abigail might be her. It’s totally not going to be her. In fact, to quote one of Sage Beckett’s own tweets in regards to her being revealed as Sister Abigail: They’re all lies, darling.
Asuka. Asuka is a can’t-miss prospect who seems impossible to screw up, so I’ve been having a tough time wondering just how WWE is going to pull this off. WWE’s women’s revolution has been marred by questionable left turns for otherwise promising prospects, and it’s risky to assume Asuka will be the exception. This is how WWE can flush a potential hall of fame career down the drain, by debuting Asuka at TLC as Sister Abigail.
Bray Wyatt. For what it’s worth, rumors and tabloid conjecture point to Bray Wyatt appropriating the Sister Abigail gimmick similar to Finn Balor’s Demon character. Wyatt even seemed to hint as much when he challenged Balor by telling him to “bring your demon and I will strip back my flesh to reveal the true nature of my dark side.”
Thoughts? Would this be worth it?
