Darn. Had a sot spot for them, they went 100% with the character and I dig that, even if the skills behind such were a touch lacking, considering their relative inexperience.
Now, I do think AEW could've done more with them but in saying that I can't really point to any current segment of the AEW roster and say 'make room for the zombie', so I get it. The tide has risen as such that a lot of the day one / early pandemic signees no longer fit, which only makes me miss Dark more.
Ah well. All the best for them, they've got that AEW Name Fame to help with bookings, so they should be right to stay afloat for a bit.
