And a kick out!
A young lady with colourful hair and gear gets her shoulder up from a pinfall attempt as her opponent, a larger woman with frizzled hair and black gear, screams right into her ear before securing a rear chinlock. The two are right in the middle of a match in a concert hall with an enthusiastic and packed crowd. The rainbow-haired girl, a little frustrated, grunts as she tries to get up from an opponent that is overpowering her with commentary giving us insight.
Harvey: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for tuning in, once again I’m Russ Harvey alongside my broadcast partner, Jack Lincoln, and we return to this match between The Banshee and “The Rainbow Princess,” herself, Nova Taylor, in our exhibition match as Nova has a one-night appearance here. However, she finds herself in a position where she has to come from behind to pull out a win.
Lincoln: And Russell, my dude, she’s no stranger to criticism or hurdles in her life. She had a lotta heartache before finding wrestling, or her former life, modelling, as her escape. She’s even had injuries, contracts conflicting, all that, so she’s more than capable.
Harvey: We know that for sure, but anything can happen, and she’s taken quite the beating thus far.
The Banshee grinds Nova Taylor to the mat as the referee asks her if she’d give up, and Taylor shakes her head “No,” before her opponent lives up to her name and yells once again. This only fires the little Supernova up as grunts “Zip it!” as she starts to will the crowd on and slowly makes her way back up with the crowd chanting for her.
Lincoln: If this was the Nova of old, or how her critics saw her, she’d be out by now. People thought her opportunities were only due to a family connection where she wrestled before. And not to mention even when she tried to act like a bit more of a punk gal, she was always bubbly and everyone thought her as a former model would get eaten alive.
Harvey: I think the popular rumour was that she left her last main promotion after an unwelcoming backstage environment including one person asked her if she’d hang up her boots and go back to modelling. But those are just that, rumours, and she’s showing she made the right decision as she’s fighting back!
Finally getting back to her feet after a few moments getting worn down, Nova grabs her opponent’s head and sits down for a jawbreaker! Dazed only for a moment The Banshee becomes infuriated and charges at Taylor, who quickly pulls her down with an arm drag! Quickening the pace for a moment, Nova Taylor runs off of the far ropes and takes her larger opponent down with a flying forearm, followed by a single-leg dropkick. There is a cheer from the crowd as Nova Taylor tops it all off with a running hurricanrana, forcing Banshee to roll to the outside! Taylor gets on a knee to catch her breath, keeping an eye on her opponent.
Harvey: And just like that, Nova builds a head of steam and takes her opponent to the outside!
Lincoln: That my friend, is how you do something with confidence! That’s what she’s built over the past year, a level of confidence and experience she didn’t have before!
Feeling the excitement from the fans, Nova, without any hesitation, blows a quick kiss to the fans and runs off the far ropes, hitting her opponent with a suicide dive under the middle rope!
Havey: And that is a sign of it that, tope suicida!
Lincoln: When you believe in yourself, there is no hesitation, no stopping you. Nova’s back in this match!
Avoiding the barricade, Nova Taylor, with adrenaline running through her veins, she pulls her opponent up and pushes her under the bottom rope. Back in the ring she is eyeing her dazed foe up. As The Banshee gets up, Nova grabs her arm from behind and attempts to somersault over, but is quickly caught and driven down with a powerslam!
Harvey: The Banshee reverse the attempt at Over The Rainbow and drives Nova into the mat with a powerslam!
Lincoln: Well, it was nice seeing the gal here, but her night is done.
Pulling the dazed Nova off the mat, The Banshee lets out her signature scream and signals for the end of the night for the Princess. She holds her in a position for a Suplex and lifts her upside down in the air. Using one arm, she prepares for a Jackhammer, but Nova's agility plays into effect and she slid out of her grip and lands directly on her feet. Before the Banshee has any chance to react she nails her with a SuperKick on the chin and both women are down.
Harvey: Super-Duper Kick by Nova!
Lincoln: And it is that much more than super!
Harvey: It’s anyone’s match!
As she catches her breath on the mat, the camera zooms in on the face of Nova who, despite the beating she’s taken, has a smile on her face. This is her life, her passion, and nobody can take that away from her.
