I want to know, because I can never remember how these work, are the weight classes. I want to know them all, hell I think I know them all, and where they line up in accordance to weight. Also, if anyone has ideas for how they remembered them, that'd be great...

Welterweight, lightweight, lightheavyweight, heavyweight?

These 3 are in WEC
Flyweight 125 lbs and under
Bantamweight 126-135 lbs
Featherweight 136-145

The rest are in UFC (minus SHW)
Lightweight 146-155 lbs
Welterweight 156-170 lbs
Middleweight 171-185 lbs
Light Heavyweight 186-205 lbs
Heavyweight 206-265 lbs

Super Heavyweight is anything heavier then 265.

No, Heavyweight is the top weight class in UFC right now, meaning no-one over 265lbs aloud. I'm guessing it's either 'cause Dana White doesn't want loads of weight classes or just because there are no talented Super Heavyweights worthy of being in UFC.

The only SHW's I can think of are Bob Sapp, Hong Man Choi and Butterbean (I dunno if he even fights any more these days) and none of them are really that good. They are all known names in MMA but their records aren't nothing spectacular considering their opposition.

BTW, sorry to give you a long essay just to answer a simple question, just thought I'd just give you an insight into Super Heavyweight's outside of UFC as well.

brock lesnar is technically almost a super heavyweight (at 265 lbs) but since theres no SHW division, he is a HW in ufc.

He does boxing, MMA and kicnobxing so he's a busy man. Nearly all of his MMA fights have been outside the US and his record is 12-7-1 and he actually beat Sean O'Haire in an MMA match in 29 seconds (good old wikipedia, learn somethin' new every day). I've seen a couple of his cage rage fights, he is obviosuly a tremendous boxer but once his opponent is on top of him on the ground, he's practiacally a beached whale down on that mat.

But put it this way, he is/was (I think he may be retired now) 10x better at boxing than MMA.

yeah Brock lesnar is actually a superheavyweight. But he reduces his weight like 25 pounds to reach the 265 :/
