I wanted to do a thread for people who may be new to AEW and wanted to know which big matches in the past are worth watching. I have looked up the top rated ones according to cagematch (as opposed to star ratings so nobody shoots me). I will be hunting down full matches and posting them here in hopes people watch and enjoy them.

Let us start with what a large portion of people agree is so far the best match in AEW history, the AEW Tag Team Championship match between then champions Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page vs. The Young bucks at Revolution 2020 PPV.

Kenny and Hangmang vs. The Young Bucks

I'd volunteer Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega for the Impact Championship on the debut Rampage right off the top of my head.

Unless this isn't considered old enough. I'll definitely think of others as well.

Yeah recency bias might be a thing but I 100% second this.

Kenny vs Fenix from Dynamite around New Years is a possibly forgotten gem too, don't hear it talked about as much after it was raved about at first

As someone who has only started to seriously get in to AEW, this match along with Punk's debut is what I think really tipped me over to becoming a full-time watcher. I feel like it's not even scratching the surface of what these two could pull off together either, and it was already that good.

From PPV matches I've seen I thought that Pac/Omega/OC triple threat at Double or Nothing was fantastic.

Kenny Omega vs. Rey Fenix

New Years Smash Night 1
Dynamite January 6th 2021

Just listening to the introduction on this and I have to ask why did WWE let Justin Roberts go?

And secondly, was his intros this good when he was in WWE?

When he calls the match for the title and then Rey Fenix out for the match, just lit enunciation.

Just for some good matches from Dynamite, I watched this about a month ago and the list I agree with for the most part. Some I might would leave out but these are worth watching

They let him have more personality for sure. He'll do some funny calls on the YouTube shows too. When I went to Dynamite a few weeks ago he was great talking to the crowd during commercials too
