1) Is there a way to get stuff from Xbox Live onto your Xbox if you don't have Xbox Live? For instance the My Chemical Romance song package for Guitar Hero II.

2) My brother has an Xbox as well, and he was thinking about getting Xbox live, so I was wondering if he subscribed on his, would it work for mine too, or would I have to subscribe separately? Same house, different rooms.

1)I don't think so, it's on Xbox Live Marketplace.
2)You need two different gamertags so I think it's 2 different subscriptions

okay, here is the info your looking for Chuck

If you both want to play online you need seperate accounts for X-Box Live. However if you don't care about playing online, while your brother subscribes as Live Gold member (which costs $60/year canadian don't know US Price), you could subscribe as a Live Silver Member. Silver is free and still gives you access like Gold members the difference is Silver Members can't play online and Gold Members sometimes get new download content a week earlier depending on what it is. As a silver member you could still buy points cards and download all the content you want including the music packs for GH2.

You also can transfer one account back and forth between two systems, but you would have to do an account recovery on the system your moving it too, which is way too much work and the account would only work on that system at that time.

Finally if your brother was a gold or silver member and you were not, you always have the final option of buying the download through your brothers system and then transfering it (assuming it fits) onto a memory card and then copying it onto your harddrive for use. Downloadable content unlike the Wii is not tied to the account holder that downloaded it.
