"ANDRADE, Calif. ( KTLA) - A 68-year-old man with almost 200 pounds of marijuana was caught trying to drive across the Arizona- California border.

The Arizona resident was driving a white 1997 Ford Explorer when he was stopped for further inspection at the Andrade border crossing station at about 6 p.m. Thursday.

A narcotics detecting dog alerted U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers to 67 packages containing 197 pounds of marijuana stashed throughout the vehicle.

The marijuana is worth an estimated $90,000.

The unidentified man was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

He is expected to face criminal charges."
