Terrible news that once again Christchurch has been hit by a huge earthquake. It was only back in September last year that a 7.1 earthquake hit the city. This latest earthquake is shaping to be one of the most deadly in New Zealand history with 65 currently confirmed dead and hundreds more missing.
The video and images coming out of Christchurch are shocking and the damage is immense. So many buildings that survived the last earthquake have collapsed because of this one and it is a terrible scene.
It is uplifting to see some footage of people working together to try to rescue people out of buildings and out of the debris.
This is a terrible situation and if there are any NZ members on the forum I hope that you, and your family and friends, are safe.
