The June 27th episode of IMPACT scored 1,108,000 viewers (up only 20,000 viewers since last week). There was no competition from the NBA Finals this week. We should have full ratings later today.

It's ok. And maybe Suicide doesn't draw as much as you think but if Aries is Suicide... Then it's awesome!

Surprised to see the Q7 numbers since ppl SHOULD HAVE stayed tuned to see "Who. Is. Suicide."

Stunned that Gut Check gained viewers. STUNNED. But as Seabs says Impact ratings makes no damn sense anyway

Some people hate Gutcheck (lol @ those), but time and time again, Gutcheck has always been a good draw, since day one. This is like the 6th, 7th Gutcheck match (or decision) tha is in the top of highest rated q-hours.

Was just thinking about that, yeah, Gutcheck (and OFN) are the cause for much criticism in the IWC but after it's canned you know we're all going to praise the concept.
The execution isn't perfect (or even good imo) but wrestling production is stale and we need stuff like this to shake things up. TNA deserves cookies for trying.

Sad but true.

Even I, one of the biggest Gutcheck supportes, now agree that Gutcheck should be scrapped from TV completely after Bad Bones gets his next month (he won that tournament, so at least he deserves that), because these releases are now making it look like a complete and utter frickin bullshit.

It's been dwindling from the start. Initially it was awesome. You had Flair involved and the Silva stuff made some noise across the industry IMO. But it deteriorated and became a shell of its former self.

I loved the concept for sure, but it was pretty irresponsible to do it when they didn't have the financial capabilities to support it.

I think the biggest mistake done with it is that they were (most of the time IMO) intentionally bringing the low rent guys (Kris Lewie, Evan Markopuolus, Ryan Howe, , Magno, Big O) so they don't have to sign them, that is because they already knew they suck. So yeah, it's a financial hole in the concept itself.

If they wanted to, they could bring the best indy guys to Gutcheck, and most of them would get signed (Swann, Ricochet, Fox, Taylor etc.), but they simply choose not to.

How many talents appeared on Gutcheck and the only ones that were known at the time were only Joey Ryan, Wes Brisco, Jay Bradley, Brian Cage and Adam Pearce. The rest are either OVW or indy effing nobodies.
