The Fast and the Furious franchise finds another returning character in Lucas Black! What's more, he's back for the next three films! comingsoon.net

Jesus can't we find an end? I'm glad their bringing in that third film just because it felt douchey to keep ignoring it. But 3 more movies so not necessary. Especially with this Robin Hood esque thing their trying to do now. I'd rather have a true smokey and the bandit remake

Yeah for real, the series got so much better with the last two movies, but it should really end with this next one. They're just after that money.

Everyone involved realized every other movie they've been in failed.

Pretty much, and I mean fuck you can't argue that this series is a huge draw after the last couple.

I think they love the money and at a certain point love working together as a cast. Glover and Gibson did another Lethal Weapon for no other reason than they just were pals.

Surprised that they have locked in three more films. I get that the last film was huge in that it doubled the previous record for the franchise, another example of The Rock saving franchises, but confirming three more is a bit too much. They need to ensure that they have a decent storyline mapped out for the next three to make sure there is a reason to continue for so much longer. We will see how FF7 goes next year and if they can maintain the gain that FF6 managed.

This is totally depressing. Besides someone like Christopher Nolan has proven that you can still make interesting movies which entertain the masses and make money.

People keep complaining about bad movies getting made, well the answer is quite simple people, stop funding them.

True it is awesome getting to do that. But even Glover Gibson and even Pesci did other movies cameos and such. They also seemed to distance them better.

Checked out the fifth one for Rock appearance, skipped the last one. Don't feel like I have to watch these films, so them making more doesn't bother me. There is a giant audience for them, and I'm not arrogant enough to act like all those people who watch the films no less than I do.
