At the end of dynamite 5 mystery people attacked Jay White - only to reveal the MJF Devil Mask on the leader.

Who are they? Is that actually MJF?

Is it a setup by Cole and was this an easter egg:

MJF saying you can have friends and still be my friend or whatever kind of makes me think Adam is putting a group together of all his friends to either take out MJF or possibly have him join them depending on if MJF sticks around or not.

Now that I think about it, didn't Cole/Fish/KOR all attack the elite like right before Cole got injured and it was never brought up again? Maybe this will be a continuation of that.

well I think the biggest reason for Cole to attack Jay was the fact that in kayfabe Jay is the one who put him on the shelf and stole his main event spotlight (he had to share) at FD1.
