[News] Kengo Mashimo is making news as he has officially received a Guinness Book of World Records request to attempt the first “24-hour Pro-Wrestling” event.
The event has been scheduled to take place on July 25 & 26, 2015 at the Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan. Shiho Tsukabi, of Pro-Wrestling Five, will serve as a representative of the event and K-DOJO adviser Toshiki Toeda will be apart of the executive committee. Mashimo himself will be the chairman of the event.
A total of 10-12 promotions are expected to take part in this event, but no details can be announced as of this time. Toeda though stated that more announcements will be made soon.
The event will be offering a special ticket for those who wish to take part in the full 24 hours and will be working to secure connections to the local establishments in the area to accommodate guests. Namely internet cafe’s, restaurants, hotels, etc. This can be seen as a pro-wrestling festival in a way that is expected to reach out to everyone, not just those who are fans of pro-wrestling already.
