2013 video games you're most excited about?

All this console talk has gotten me in the mood... : (Although when am I not in the mood for video games?) So, what are some of the video games coming out this year -- or last month's releases -- that you're most excited about?

For me, I'm very excited about God of War: Ascension, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Lego Marvel Superheroes. I'm also excited about DeadPool, but can't remember if that comes out this year or next year.

Some I'm curious about are Tomb Raider, Dead Island: Riptide and Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.

Is Dead Island good? I put Riptide as one I'm curious about because I had wondered if Dead Island was any good. I had considered it before but never purchased it since I hadn't heard much about it.

I have the current Walking Dead game based on the comics and love it. Odds are I'll be wanting the Survival Instinct one, as well, but time will tell.

It's weird, if you have seen the trailer for it you'd expect it to be completely different than it is, it's not sad or anything at all, it's just a hack and slash basically, it's really fun but it's one of them games that you can't really play too much or you'll get pretty bored, it's worth a buy but I'd just get Riptide if you're curious as apparently it's almost exactly the same.

Yeah same about the Walking Dead game, the one where you play as Lee yeah? It's a great game, Survival Instinct has a lot to live up to but I'll get it either way just because I like the show and Daryl.

Yeah, the one I'm playing now is the one where you're Lee Everett. Love the storyline and how the graphics are more comic book-style. Completely agree about Survival Instinct. I had thought it was interesting they had two different Walking Dead games coming out relatively close together, but was pretty excited about both. I'm a huge fan of Daryl and the show, so I think it should be great if they do it right. What I have seen and read about it so far seems good.

Very, very little. Just checked the list of Wikipedia of games to be released this year and I only managed to come up with three . . .

Rayman Legends ~ Even though I enjoyed Origins, I wasn't really excited for this game until a few days ago when I played a demo in a gamestop. The rhythm level they had to play was incredibly fun, and honestly might just be the funniest concept introduced into a platform in many, many years in my opinion. Want the game just based off that level. But first things first, I have to get a Wii U (absolutely horrendous name for a system by the way).

Injustice: God Among Us ~ It's a DC fighting game and based off everything I've seen it looks awesome. And I've seen quite a few matches from it in full. Can't wait to get my hand on it.

But the game I'm easily most excited for is . . .

Beyond: Two Souls ~ This game is considered, or hyped up to be, the spiritual successor to Heavy Rain. For those of you who've experienced Heavy Rain, I probably don't have to say anything else and out of laziness I won't. It is easily the game I'm most excited about this year. Which as you can tell, means almost nothing.

Yeah, I'm more of a retro gamer but it's a good thing I have a limited amount of games I'm actually interested in getting this year as it means I'll be able to actually get every game I'm interested in.

Wow, is it really? I hadn't heard anything about that one, but I absolutely loved Heavy Rain and got way into it. I'm glad you mentioned that, because now I'll have to check that one out and look more into it.

I'm also really excited about Injustice. Seems like it'll be great.
