The 2012 Night Of Champion garnered 189,000 worldwide pay-per-view buys. The event did 100,000 buys in North America and 89,000 internationally.
This year's card was headlined by WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena fighting to a draw.

2011 buys.

WWE has released its updated monthly business figures, which include preliminary estimates for the Night of Champions pay-per-view that went down this past Sept. 18 in Buffalo, New York.

And the magic number is 165,000 buys, exactly the same as last year's event.

Very nice indeed. Was 165,000 for 2 years in a row. Would have been funny for the same figure again.
