Davey Boy Smith was only 39 years old.

What are some of your favorite moments in his career?

Obviously, a lot of people will point to his amazing match with Bret Hart at Summerslam 1992. Which is hard to argue with. Besides that as a fan of the whole Hart Foundation nothing can top the Calgary Stampede match as far as an amazing crowd, and just amazing energy.

Vs Bret Hart -Summerslam 1992

The Hart Foundation vs. Team Austin
(WWE In Your House 16 Canadian Stampede, 10-Man Tag Team Match)

And we can't fail to mention the British Bulldogs

Hard to believe he was still so young, even after he had finally gotten healthy and away from the pills, I believe. He must have been looking forward to retirement and seeing his kids wrestle.

One unique thing about Bulldog is that he was always prominent. He was in the WWE as early as 1986, he was also there in the early, mid and late 90s and he even had a short run in 1999 right in the middle of the attitude era. He was always a midcarder or better throughout all of these eras.

He actually started in WWF in 1984 which was insane to me when I read that. He was only 22 at the time.

Can’t believe it’s been that long. My dad and I always liked him, he was from the same place as my dad. You never really realize how fast time goes by until you start remembering people on their death dates each year....

It feels like just yesterday I was watching Davey Boy and him tearing it up in there. We all know he was a fantastic Wrestler no doubt in my mind, still love his Match with Owen for the European Title to pieces, but he was a great person as well. Imagine the Pranks Owen, and Davey are pulling in Heaven:monkey

Every time the calendar hits May, I think about Owen. I completely forget about Davey. Another gone too young. Wembley Stadium forever be his masterpiece
