A HUGE tag team match as DX, John Cena and The Undertaker take on Legacy, Randy Orton and CM Punk.

Also, some guy called The Rock (Who apparently was pretty popular) will show in a pre-taped segment.

Discuss!

Some guy called The Rock? I think I've heard of him. I'll watch this show just for the sole reason of seeing who this guy is. After he's gone i'll turn it. Nothing else is interesting.

A pre taped segment? Please have santino in it lol. I think taker will be protected init as usual. I want to see ortona nd taker have some sort of interaction i loved that feud so much. As always smackdown will out do Raw this week easily.

finally the Rock has come back...... to.... his house at least.. hey Dwayne was at his finest as the Rock so I'll gladly take what I can get from him!

I really can't stand guys who hate on him for leaving... He did what was right for him, and nobody in his position wouldn't have done what he did.

he makes better money now than he ever did in wrestling and doesn't have to be on painkillers every single night.... he did what was right for Dwayne Johnson and I respect him for it... sure I miss the guy... the Rock was fucking awesome, great in the ring and the best mic guy of all time but its over...

I'll look forward to his segment, and hope that one day he does return for one last match...

No one is saying you have to be a wrestler for life, we don't expect Austin to get back into the ring, as, you know, IT MIGHT KILL HIM. What we, or at least, I, object to, is The Rock treating wrestling and its fans like they are some horrible dirty secret about his past and not showing up once in a while to pay respect to those who made him.

Completely sums it up for me...

taken way out of proportion pal.... what did the guy actually do? If he wants to move on to do something else, which he always said he did then whats the problem.... you, I, everyone misses the great one but its in the past.... he doesn't need to come back.....

And which former wrestler ever made it??? nobody... evryone failed... so if he has tried to put some distance, or as grown ups might say "he's using his own name" then its to give his acting career more of a chance of suceeding.... and if he does give up the silver screen then he'd be welcome back with open arms like his promo on SD this week will be...

I dissagree. Blown "way out of proportion" would be me saying "Rock thinks we're all dumb, uneducated c*nts.. rant.. rant.. rant and hates wrestling fans blah blah blah.... I hate him... roooar".

Kaedon's quote is rather calm and concise to my mind.

I see the point being made has been water off a ducks back anyway...

There's an issue at the root of this that could be discussed, but rather than address and possibly counter the issues of integrity and being iseen to be in denial of the people that in fact facilitated Rock's opportunity to follow his 'true dream' it would seem that you'd prefer to cast me as some immature fool who's just missing a hero.

The fact that he couldn't 'lower' himself to do so much as a taped segment for the 15th Anniversary of Raw or the 25th Anniversary of Mania stinks; no proportions overblown.

can we drop this whole "rock sold out" shit already? it bugged me for a little while when he first left but i completely understand.

oh and if you're one of those "we made the rock" pieces of shit, go fuck yourself and die please.

now on topic, smackdown was a joke. just like the rest of wwe's shows were in the last couple of weeks. the [insert adjective] of the show was so bad it made me feel stupid for missing the old days. i now think back then it was just as [adjective] as it is now, know what i mean?

i think i might take a break from the wwe after raw this week unless..

It was nice that they put in that Eddie tribute.

I really enjoyed SD this week and, even though I am pissed that Punk and Orton lost, I am glad that fucking queer, Cena, didn't get the pin.

Smackdown was awesome this week! Much better then any 3 hour RAW show, they had some matches which were given good time, they also added a good amount of comedy with the backstage stuff while still managing to add to peoples characters and help the current feuds. Also the Rock's segment was pretty cool, would have been way better and the crowd would have been really into it if it was actually done in the arena but we should just be thankful for what we get of Rocky these days. Overall a very enjoyable show, this has to prove why SD is better then RAW!

Also, I was fucking shocked to see Vickie return with Eric Escobar, not only that but theyre dating or something! Eric is crazy! Vince must have high hopes for Eric though, he's debuting with Vickie managing him, she gets some of the best heat in WWE these days tbh so this should really help Eric out, also good that theyre on SD, ECW is kind of packed with young talents atm.

All I saw was The Rock's segment and I was spazzing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck the crowd! Jesus the crowd was dead! I swear the older crowd was the only ones yelling his name, the younger kids were probably saying to each other "He was in Game Plan!" his brother probably said "He was in Race Mountain too!" I changed the channel just in time to catch his segment then I changed the channel back after it was over.

The crowd was dead because they were probably fuckin disappointed that he wasn't actually there.
8 man tag was cool....but way to make CM Punk and Orton look like shit the WHOLE match.

It was a decent SD in truth. Best WWE show 4 a while.

The Rocks segment showed, how much better at cutting a promo he STILL is than everyone else.

The 8 man tag was cool. (I literally typed this, just as ^^ u did) Glad legacy were in it. Real good show imo!
