What's been your takeaways from the past year?

Thoughts on the pool of talent / ones you're excited for? Favourite matches? Highlights / Lowlights?​

Overall most of the talent has swam instead of sunk it seems, they threw so much shit at the wall at the beginning that I'm shocked so much of it actually stuck

Yeah I think it towards the start where for obvious reasons they seemed to debuting new people almost weekly, was actually pretty crazy. They were mad new aswell because I would remember looking them up to post in the level up thread etc

Yeah they were putting people on TV way earlier than usual and these were complete rookies, no indie experience lol I was nervous af but some have thrived

Nah but really it's been pretty cool. Basically what I hoped it would be, which is pretty much along the lines of the early days of NXT as a brand, with the interesting blend of gimmicks and lots of talent that I have next to no knowledge of. No complaints about it as a development brand tbh and if anything, I probably prefer the characters they have now to previous years.

Yeah I really can't stress enough how much I was falling off with black and gold last year itself before the change. I think they coulda just fixed that instead of the major changes too but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy 2.0 more than 2021 black and gold from January to August.

And now I'm even more satisfied that there was a change bc trips can just book that good shit on the main roster lmao
