Figure I'll try this out with TNA as well to spark up the activity. It worked for the WWE threads so yeah.

Preview for Impact

  • Who will Hogan give the Hall of Fame ring to next?
  • Hogan demands an explanation from Sting on why he turned heel.
  • Orlando Jordan debuts the O-Zone. His 1st guest, Global champ "The Freak" Rob Terry

  • After The Guns humiliated Beer Money ([http://www.impactwrestling.com/forum/showthread.php?p=578372#post578372) Beer Money looks for revenge as the 2 teams duke it out.
  • The Knockouts are also in action as all 3 members of The Beautiful People take the team of Tara, Taylor Wilde, and Sarita. All the Knockout titles are on the line.
  • Douglas Williams makes his 1st appearance on Impact after being stripped of the title.
  • More on Bischoff's ranking system.

I like the idea of this, but TNA needs to put something better than this on the preview. Hogan's "ring" ...no one cares about that. Next topic Hogan again! Not the world champ RVD. Not the former champ AJ Styles demanding a rematch. No it's Orlando Jordan which everyone hates and his new show! Don't say anything about Jeff Hardy or Desmond Wolfe who are leading in the voting, so you know the fans like them.

Just my thoughts. TNA just tried WAY too hard since debuting on Monday and it blew up in there face.

I really don't feel like Hogan is at fault either. It's just when you bring 10 new wrestlers in at the same time and a huge cluster of whats going on, its a mess. Hogan has brought more visibilty to TNA for sure. But they tried to build rome overnight.

Ring?

Hmm, not sure, got a horrible feeling it'll be Hardy or RVD, possibly himself. Of course he might give it to Abyss, then all they need is for Abyss to get to Mordor and drop those fellas in Mount Doom and the job is done. (Tbh the storyline might as well do that, at least it'd be funny to see the poor set they come up with.)

Sting?

Not sure where this one is going, tbh I think they've been 'demanding' the answer from Sting all this time because Russo has been trying to figure it out himself. It did seem to come out of left field when it happened.

O-Zone?

Well I'll just watch this and see, it can't get any worse. Can it? :spacecraft:

The Matches noted seem fine, Beer Money and the MCMG should be good. I'm expecting the Beautiful People to win again, especially if Tara's hints about going are accurate.

Douglas Williams should be interesting, still don't fully agree with the call, should have filled the slot at Lockdown with a standard X-Division match. I'll chuckle if Williams uses his rematch and gets the belt back immediately mind.

The ranking system note is odd, what more is there to announce? It seems a pretty basic idea, or are they adding bits on to make it easier for Abyss to rise to the top.

The only other issue I can think off not raised by the preview, is who the extra member of the Band Nash referred to. I'm wondering which old NWO guys are still around they could surprise us with. Hope its not Bagwell. :chair:

Things we all have to look forward to on iMPACT:

We get to see who Hogan has decided he's giving Rick Flair's personal ring to.
We get to see Orlando Jordan grope Rob Terry.

Yay!

This looks like its going to be a terrible show, HOW CAN THIS FUCKING STUPID COMPANY THINK A SEGMENT WITH ROB TERRY/ORLANDO JORDAN IS A GOOD IDEA?

I swear to god, they're all idiots.

t.

That's the 1st thing I noticed when I went on their site and looked at their preview for the show. The 1st 2 things were about Hogan. The Hall of Fame ring. WWE's Hall of Fame ring. They're actually hyping that. Then Hogan and Sting. So look for Hogan to be all over the show tonight.

As far as who the ring goes to. I think it'll be Lethal. I'm hoping that if he does get it, the Machismo Character is gone. Although I have enjoyed it more recently, I still hate it. If he does get the ring though, I hope he doesn't go down the line that Abyss went down. He's gotten more annoying since he got the damn ring. Next canidate I see getting the ring is Rob Terry. Though that wouldn't make since since he's already a monster.

It's called building a feud and/or title match.

Hogan will give the ring to Don West, who will sell it on one of his Insane Deals. The end.

I am pretty sure Hogan will stick Ric Flair's ring up his own ass on live TV. We all know Hogan will do anything for ratings. Either that or stick it up Abyss' ass. Plus this entire segment will be MC'd by Orlando Jordan right after OJ sucks off Rob Terry during the O-Zone.

I haven't seen a TNA promo that was decent in awhile, and Flair/Lethal was way better than decent. Lethal was very believable. Lethal's face was WTF'ing when Flair was taking his shirt off.

Flair/Lethal was great, the brawl was aight, then Hogan proceeds to bury every over heel in TNA with the same exact punch 4 times in a row...FAILURE

Those guys crumbled in front of Hogan one by one, it was like Moses parting the red sea. lol Storm paused before Hogan actually got fully into the ring to attack him.

One punch and those guys are like knocked out. Didn't know Hogan was taking boxing lessons from Big Show :shifty:
