Even though his gimmick came off as awesome... I'm not sure where WWE is going with this. It seriously is like Johnny Ace trying to prove he is "creative" by rehashing an old gimmick or two(The Cat and Flash Funk) on a guy that was supposed to debut weeks ago. Hilarious all around.

Backstage News On Brodus Clay
The backstage reaction to Brodus Clay's debut at RAW last night was said to be positive. WWE Officials felt that the gimmick got over the way they hoped it would.

I loved Brodus Clays return and it was unexpected, was a bit weird since they were hyping him as this scary monster type of guy but hasn't WWE had too many of them in the past? A good fresh change though and somewhat, entertaining.

Let's go through the IWC 3 phases of Brodus Clay:
Phase 1: Videos are shown, showing Brodus soon to debut as a major heel.
The IWC: That's the WWE boring and predictable, Brodus Clay, I don't want to see him as a monster heel. Actually I don't want to see him.
Phase 2: Week by week the Brodus debut is delayed.
The IWC: How come they don't show Brodus Clay? Typical WWE being predictable.
Phase 3: The WWE surprises everybody debuting Brodus as Funkasaurus Brodus Clay.
The IWC: I wanted to see Brodus as a monster heel, why did they do this?

JR Speaks on Brodus Clay Debut
In response to several fan Tweets concerning Brodus Clay's WWE Raw debut, Jim Ross posted the following:

"I'm a Brodus Clay fan. Been around long enough to not judge anything on its 1st appearance. He's going to apparently be a fan fav. Relax."

JR with more good & correct responses, Clay got a good reaction from the crowd last night and people felt entertained.

Initial thoughts of Brodus Clays debut was 'what the hell have they done', By the time the match was over i thought it wasn't so bad. He seems entertaining enough and when WWE feels its time they can always repackage him as that monster heel we thought we were going to see.
