    My guess is JR and Tenay would be the commentary team for WCW until it dies probably still adding that stupid madden guy at the end but unlike Tony I think JR would then get a job post WCW with the WWE so I think both guys would still wind up winning in that scenario.

    My favorite commentary team ever, so I agree. Although, I loved them in WCW, maybe being in the WWF means I don’t lose him on commentary for 20 years.

    It’s always been of my opinion that Tony was one of the best to ever do it and my personal favorite commentator.

    I’ll be honest, though if Tony was the one in question that was caught on a bad day bad mouthing somebody on Twitter I would totally be saying no no no no just give him a warning to give him a second chance. :slip:

    I agree. And if he’s fired Kelly after only a couple of days from when it happened, supposedly, that was quick and decisive and I think it shows a pretty damn good example.

    I don’t even think Kelly was bad, but like Tony is the goat and Ian was just a better Ring of Honor commentator if they want to put another ROH guy on Saturday night.

    Tony already took his position as the main play-by-play so at that point Kelly was a vestigial tail.

    Or even Perry, who still technically serving a suspension. Also, Danielson, from what I understand is supposed to fine people for this stuff as well.

    It’s wild how much coworkers in AEW still shit on each other on the Internet. It’s like they think they’ll be no consequences even though Tony has clearly said otherwise, and shown otherwise.
