    I mean, regardless of the brand warfare stuff I think just the fact that they did wargames at last in the WWE and they saved it for survivor series means that they still value that branding.

    To be fair, they’re putting a little more thought into them now like with the LA/Roman Match on this current one but Yeah.

    I still don’t think the Saudi shows are hugely important, though. Just a filler B grade pay-per-view in my opinion. Like Judgment Day was.

    I will say trooper’s right about that last thing. The last two calendar years being 2022 and 2023 the Saudi show replaced whatever that month’s original pay-per-view was going to be (and I don’t use that PLE nonsense).

    I’d definitely say the mitb PPV. Between the implication the winner of the briefcase holds to the following year of television and history of the event. Dating back to at least when they did Cena and Punk in 2011 and definitely since.

    Survivors is probably their fourth on the list of the big four so some years they forget to make it feel important, but I would agree that there’s never been any consistent lengthy period of time where it wasn’t considered a big four.

    I’m sure the event will draw either way as WWE have spent close to two decades training their fans to care about the brand itself, but I agree. Not having your champion ona big 4 is wild to me. I get grumpy mjf spent two lesser AEW PPVs not defending his belt, but he was still there in a match...
