Impact gives no fucks about what sponsors think.

I'm not a fan of it most of the time either. I've also seen things. This has grown on me, though. They told the story well.

I still need to see that match. Tessa and Cage had a great match at WrestleCircus.

I'd say those things are more unbelievable, but for me I think character and story unbelievability is easier to swallow than biological. I just have to roll with it when Taker ascends to the top of the TitanTron. I also thinking booking is key. I found the booking of most of the LU intergender...

What's weird is I support Tessa being the Impact Champion and hated most of the Lucha Underground intergender matches.

Sounds good. I wanted to be sure I can watch it before it leaves.

I think I'll buy the tee as well. Does anyone know how long I have a Fite TV order?

I'll be in the Impact thread Tuesday. Let's make it a good one.

    Context is king.

In case anyone is still confused. Tessa is a phenomenal talent and athlete. She believably competes against men. I thoroughly enjoyed this match and would rank it somewhere near my top 10 matches for 2019-2020. I was speaking in the general sense that most other woman who compete in...

I really don't think it's entirely sexism. Almost every combat sport has gender and weight classes as it does make a difference. As for that latter part EXACTLY. I'm highly entertained by Tessa and this match. So I'm not sure why people don't see why I was talking in generality. I hope to...

That's not even remotely what I said. You guys realize you can talk about specifics versus the general, right?

    Hard to Kill Discussion Thread

True, nobody can speak for everyone but I would say most times this is polled the majority of the general audience agrees it's hard to suspend the disbelief of 125-pound women competing with men generally 70-120 pounds heavier.

This argument is killing me because I liked Tessa winning... ...that said I feel spending disbelief is fine when the rules of wrestling say you can Irish whip someone or you want to believe Undertaker is a zombie because it's part of the general story, but it's harder to forget the general...

My problem here is I agree in 99% of cases inter-gender wrestling looks bad. When I watched LU I cringed watching Sexy Star. Tessa however wrestles a much more commanding style and she really goes toe to toe with the men I've seen her wrestle.

I think the Impact section is about to pick up so I hope to see you in the Impact discussions. Tessa is one of the best things going about Impact, but honestly once I watched the show I saw so many great acts.
