    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Good job JF! Really like the build for that Benoit/Angle feud and think it was a good way of getting Benjamin and Haas some exposure and Kurt some great heat. Also made Benoit's struggle the more compelling. Enjoyed the Bischoff and Morney combo but it was too short lived. Actually liked...

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Re: WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002 Yeah watched this one the other day like I said I would. Tag Title match - Sort of agree, it is uneven and felt rushed at the start but there was still some good action and it was a great moment when Booker and Dust went over *** Edge VS. A-Train -...

The Cat on commentary, that dumb Steiner/Noble/Nidia segment and Show VS. Moolah in the MAIN EVENT!? Are you sure you didn't dream up that SD? Found the Jericho/Christian team entertaining but the stuff with their clothes being stolen is just lame. Feuding with HBK did slightly more for Van...

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Fact that SS was one of my first ever wrestling DVD's. Think you are being a bit harsh on the Trish/Victoria hardcore match, thought it was very heated and had some nice spots too. Loved the Mirror, Mirror segment post-match, but felt one thing which let the show down was too many segments for...

    1. Not that I cared too much about the Torrie/Al/Dawn saga beyond odd comedy value but surely they should have built the story up first before having the PPV grudge match. 2. Flair was always going to be step down for RVD after facing the champ, however I didn't mind the match and it can't...

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Re: WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002 ^ He was but still think he had improvement to make, the Edge of 2006 could have carried the A-Train.

Yeah your right sorry, might have been better if it was Benoit.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Benoit faces the A-Train. Its a pretty decent card imo.

And I have a copy of Armageddon 02 sitting on my shelf ready to view, but think I will wait until you get round to it. Suddenly that Raw Roulette show seems very lame.

Oh yes the start of the dreaded Dawn Marie/Al Wilson saga I take it Heyman didn't pen that one?

In 2002? How the hell did that happen he was a bland rookie then, they were part of a big storyline.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Nice review overall. 1. Eight man was the perfect opener but sounds like it should have got a bit longer. 2. Remember the Jericho/Flair rematch being better than the slam effort but still not great. 3. Loved the finish to Eddie/Edge better, but different too to their other PPV meeting. 4...

That was one of the greatest ever summerslam, such a stacked card! Yep that Steph dress was a knockout, Hunter really doesn't deserve her. Disagree on Edge/Eddie, I think their Smackdown match was better and Unforgiven even better.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Yeah but that was in the short term post-summer not long term. I really liked SD when Heyman was booking it, sadly it was short lived.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Maybe but they didn't really do that after awhile there was very little to tell the two shows apart.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

She was okay think she became quite bland after awhile but will revisit some shows from that era before making my mind up. The saddest part was that they didn't really build on the promise of Steph/Smackdown VS. Eric/Raw feud.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

She may not have been the best GM ever but I did enjoy Steph/Bischoff trying to out do one another.

    WWF/E's Raw, Smackdown & PPV's 2002

Judgement Day outside of a couple of matches was a bit of a stinker. KOTR sounds good (its been years since I have seen that one) may have been a poor match but Hogan/Kurt served its purpose. Eddie/Flair was senseless. Heyman was gold all night, the elvation of Brock was well handled. Both...

Interesting that cause back then Matt was much the better worker of the two different story now. The booking of that Regal match was funny! Too much Flair/Taker/Austin stuff.
