I live in an extremely diverse area. Black people from all nations and countries consider Light Skinned, and Dark Skinned to be different. I wouldn't consider it racist. Its just a means of identifying each other amongst the black community. Theres also nicknames such as Redbone, or Yellowbone...- Joey
