Tbh I think a big reason Jericho didn't just go back to WWE was because WWE was expecting him to play that role for the rest of his career. Bit of a grind. Not the most exciting match. Would have been great to say the match to crown the first AEW World Champion was a banger but it was kinda just decent. Page looked excellent though and the pin got a big ovation. Eh.- Hoss

The match was fantastic until the shenanigans took place. I mean, I marked out for Arn, but I think it slowed things down too much with everyone getting involved and the match itself lost a lot of intensity. Pretty good match all around though.- Hoss
