    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Unclear to me if in the end, Dennis is supposed to just be imagining the whole scenario basically because he's fucked up on Kratom, or if he was genuinely supposed to have managed to lower his blood pressure with that whole dream sequence though.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Yeah, loved the eighth episode. Really enjoyed them railing against all the annoyances of automation and systems that are supposed to be for convenience but are actually a hassle in a lot of scenarios. I believe the actor who plays Dennis told a story a few months ago on the Sunny podcast about...

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Episode 7 yet another great one. Other than the first episode of the season, I've enjoyed the hell out of every episode and pleasantly been proven wrong about the direction the shows going. These last 2 seasons have been a great rebound for the show.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Episode 6 was another great episode. Pretty classic storylines for all the members of the gang. Even the part where Charlie and Dennis were trying to break through that wall was like a nice throwback to when they tried to bust down the door at the Korean bar.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Also Cranston and Paul fit the show great, probably better than any of the other "major" actors who have guest starred before. Right up there with Sudeikis. And I loved Mac's whole Michael Jordan fashion angle :lol Great episode

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Yeah this season is definitely coming together nicely after a tepid start for me. Love the nickelschläger bit.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Yeah, Frank vs. Russia was a good one. I was pretty precarious about it in the first minutes but it ended up being a great episode. Frank's performance during the final chess battle was hilarious. I was happy to see the DENNIS System be revived as well.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Funny enough, this third episode was my favorite :lol I agree with the disappointment about the utilization of Uncle Jack and Rhea Perlman though. I liked the story a lot though and it felt a lot more... idk, justified maybe (?) than the first two, which I thought felt a lot more half-baked...

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

So as to not be a complete downer, I did think last season was the best of the last 3 seasons, and honestly the Roller Rink and Ireland episodes may become classics for me, so I do feel they can still deliver good shit, but these first 2 episodes just didn't click how I'd like.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I thought both were fine but easily below the quality of most of the rest of the show in my mind. The only thing I really cared much for in the first episode was Mac's face getting progressively more fucked up, although even that was a little off for me, because it felt more like a Dee bit. The...

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Watching these first two episodes of the new season now. Not really a spoiler I feel, but I have to reiterate once again that it is disappointing how much of the spirit of the show seems to be gone. And frankly, I feel that the last few seasons have just felt very rushed and kinda lazy. Having...

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Trailer looks great again. Hope this season gets back a bit to the old school Sunny feel, if you know what I mean.

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I think it was around season 4 when I first gave the show a shot and watched it on FX. I believe it was the "The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell" episode that I saw that made me realize how good the show was. Then I bought Season 3 and 4 on DVD and watched the shit out of them. Now, I've seen every...

    It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

With a 14th season looming for the show, which will tie it as the longest running American live action sitcom of all time, I figured this show warrants its own thread. I'm sure there is a thread for it somewhere, at some point in time, but I couldn't find anything within the last few years...
