Should just go on the nostalgia tours with the rest of the 90s acts. Good money touring across country and even better overseas. I think the days of being the token rapper on pop songs are over, been replaced by Minaj and the great white hope with the fake butt.

Man was that mixtape terrible. It sounded like a shitty, recorded in the bathroom, Youtube rapper. Like she spent 5 bucks for some Fruity Loops beats and some piece of shit mic.

I'm just going to say that album still sucked, all the lyrical genius can't stop bad production and terrible song concepts, this was Canibus debut album bad. He should've just named the album something different, because I hear MMLP2 I expect MMLP2, where's the crazy callabos with people like...

Well, the bar is high these days. Fame is the whole destination now. Used to be, getting famous was a byproduct of being good at something. Now it's just the goal, don't matter if you are good at anything, people will find anyway to get there.

Pretty obvious, 50 got a name on dissing everybody on "How to rob" and his name was on alot of rappers mouths, that gunplay guy trying to generate a buzz by doing the same.

His name is Gunplay, armed robbery........Not a good name to use imo. Like a Middle Eastern gentleman boarding a plane with the name Muhammed Blowupdatplane.

That's pretty much what I'm talking about, there might be maybe one guy who stands out in a cypher segment, and one whole segment that is good, I can't sit through a whole show waiting for it, I used to wait for these like xmas time. Now I can't give two fucks about it anymore. BET killed rap...

Cyphers are getting weaker with every year, there is only one breakout segment and the rest are just lame as fuck.

Most of this stuff just reeks of kayfabe, manufactured beefs to give somebody some shine who hasn't been in the limelight in forever or never.

It's pretty difficult to name drop rappers these days, since there are over 5 million "rappers" littering hip hop sites almost daily. I don't care about internet rappers who can't get their own family to listen to them let alone anyone else. It's up to mainstream rappers to stop looking for the...
