Yeah that last line is whats most intriguing. Like if he really doesn't want Matt and just lets him walk, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he let Jeff out of his deal even if that's not the norm for them.
Any chance they just come to a deal that expires when Jeffs does and then let both walk at the end?
I know he got offered NXT before he left but I do hope that ship has fully sailed by now
