A response of sort at the end of the video

I mean quite frankly no one more than 2 years in the business should probably be letting Jeff do any calling in the ring regardless of concussions being involved :lol

I don't really give it much of a chance that he was told exactly "roll him up" fwiw, that would be ridiculous if he still hit the finish then

I'm too lazy to look, it could have been on a media call but I thought after the Moxley one Tony was asked about it and said they had a new system in place and mentioned the fines. It would feel like they were picking on Sammy for being a repeat offender if not lol

At that point Sammy should have won by referee stoppage and nothing is hurt bc he was the winner anyway, weird not to just do it yeah

We don't even know what the exact communication was for one lol and I never said it couldn't have, I just said they should have their own word for concussion protocol so everyone knows what's happening instantly. My point is even if it was worded as "take it home" that doesn't really make me...

Yeah I agree. Wrestlers also tend to be idiots a lot so I don't think it's bad to try and further idiot proof your system to prevent it either. Can't rate the Jeff point tho bc if he was actually concussed, well they try and keep working all the time, it's on the non-concussed to be the smart...

Oh one thing I feel is being lost in the miscommunication possibility aspect is that....let's also just examine common sense here lol you just landed on someone's face with your knee full force, the ref pauses action, checks on him, tells you (probably frantically) to go home....man I give some...

I think if they looked at this as a specific case and found Sammy was the one at fault and only punished him, it's 100% fine too, in other cases maybe the ref is punished as well. We obviously don't know the depth of their "investigation" or whatever you want to call it, but in general I would...

Jeff actually wasn't concussed just to clarify, he broke his nose. The issue was he was deemed as potentially concussed from the spot before the GTH but he's thankfully fine regardless of either spot as far as I've heard (other than his nose)

I agree for legit injuries refs should stop the match and leave nothing to chance. The reason that rarely happens anywhere is to placate one of my biggest pet peeves in wrestling, the worked shoot injury. We have to throw up the X and pause the match for fake injuries all the time to fool the...

That actually makes a lot of sense. If you get the call to end a match early after you smack someone in the face with your knee...do it without hitting your finish which is also smacking them in the face with your knee

I think it's more likely this fine is more for the move being hit wrong than not following protocol after as I think they've even said Jeff didn't get a concussion, but he did break his nose

That's interesting, you'd think the ref would be at fault too. I'd actually say following protocol is more on them than performers
