    By the same token, why does the streak really matter as much as people say it does? I'm not gonna say I didn't cry when it was broken, but at the end of the day, it was a plot device for the Undertaker and nothing more.

    I'm not necessarily sure I agree with that, to be honest. I think having someone who's at least accomplished something and has shown he can connect to the fans (for a sustained amount of time) should be important. Giving it someone just coming up the pike I think would have been a complete disaster.

    To be fair, in 2014, there wasn't really anyone else to have Taker lose to. I still think it was the right decision and as much as people complain about Brock, at least he still shows up.
