    I've been watching. Lots of complaints about the animation quality, and while yeah it does look worse than season 1, it isn't like it's the worst animation ever. Looking at you, Berserk 2016. Story wise it's still good.

    I'm so out of the loop with Attack on Titan. Have only seen the first season. Thought it was really good but just hadn't gotten back into it yet. I should change that.

    I don't know how many people here played Persona 5, but the animation so far has been great. Art style is pretty good, shares the game's soundtrack which is fantastic, and they're actually managing to properly pace a 100+ hour JRPG into an episodic format. Would recommend all around.

    From what I know, you'll be perfectly fine not knowing much Japanese in any place like Tokyo, Osaka, etc.

    Started watching .hack//Sign again. By far a much better "trapped inside a MMO" anime than something like Sword Art Online IMO. I've heard Overlord is another one, but haven't checked that out yet.

    I second FMA Brotherhood. Maybe check out Monster, that's a good one which is super dark. Psycho Pass I think you'd like if you liked Death Note. Akame ga Kill! would be another one. Maybe Boku dake ga Inai Machi as well.

    I watched Mob Psycho 100 from start to finish the other day. If you like One Punch Man, you'll like this too. Opening is going to be stuck in my head for a while.

    I've been so out of the loop with anime for a while now, like the last one I ended up watching was Tokyo Ghoul. Unless you wanna count the Pokemon X/Y anime. And boy, that sure is a whole big heaping pile of terrible. Pokemon anime sucks hard after Hoenn.
