    Not saying I disagree with them not going to the extreme, but then maybe they shouldn't have created the division in the first place. My point being that for it to truly work it had to feel different and have its own theme.

    Of course, but when WWE introduced the European title it only had one world title, the IC Title and tag titles, so it could have worked if they kept it on a unique theme which they didn't.     This is a good point, the problem is WWE never really those belts seriously. At least with the Euro belt it was part of some major feuds and at least felt fresh for the first few years.

    That's true, but they had a much smaller roster then. This was always bound to happen since WCW and ECW went under.

    Am with Skywalker on this one, the key is make the IC Title almost as important as the WWE, and make it a stepping stone for the big one. Did wonders for the likes of Bret Hart, Warrior and even Orton.
