  1. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

It wasn't blabber if you paid attetntion there were points to why he didn't make wrestling period and Fliar made wrestling. Vince put wrestling in the mainstream and Hogan was the stooge that fit on Vince's hand. Anyways you prolly don't know much of what I even said. I know you didn't read most...
  2. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

But in all essence Hogan just said what was scripted for him While Flair did what he did and so did others outside WWF. Again Vince made Hogan and the writting team gave him good lines and everyone he faced sold his actions in the ring. Come on a leg drop as a finisher? when the piledriver...
  3. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

Wanna talk Flamboyant? Look up Adrian Street now that's Flamboyant. On the matter of the subject everyone knows Hogan is a rip off of Superstar Billy Graham. lol Gorgeous George is before Hogan in my book but in being Flamboyant Adrain Street beats him. lol Plus wasn't Supstar Billy Graham...
  4. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

Treu on that but in actuallity it was Vince not Hogan who thought of it. Hogan just got lucky and fit the bill but it could have easliy been Superstar Billy Graham? lol
  5. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

Yeah I watched it since I was like two and I am not joking. Thanks BTW I guess I did go off a bit as I hate when anyone says Hogan made wrestling. He didn't but was more merchandised then anyone I will give that up but wrestling in general? I don't think so. lol Yeah Hogan is the wealthiest...
  6. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

I never named anyone a sheep I just said anyone who refuses to acknowledge Flair as the TRUE Flagship of wrestling is. If you feel offended oh well? Only if you feel it's true would you feel offended. Never said you personallly said in general and BTW my first wrestling match was World Class...
  7. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

Hogan the flagship bearer? Again only to sheep that refuse to think for themselves. REAL Wrestling fans know he wasn't the flagship. Ric Flair was the Flagship and still is as he can still go where areas Hogan can't go anymore. Flair has wrestled over 3 decades and faced every style known...
  8. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

Thank you you just reinforced my point that Hogan was made as a marketing ploy and not as great as ppl make him out to be. AWA Champion? Yeah it could have changed everything but who knows if he would have held it long enough or would he have fallen flat on his face? Maybe Verne knew more...
  9. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

I only did this cause someone else in another thread said he did. Trust me I know he didn't. Help it? Depends who you ask? I still say Falir helped it more as he didn't need to be pushed or shived down ppls throats like Hogan did. Just my view.
  10. Did Hogan really put wrestling on the map?

I dunno if this is the write place but I ask this cause in all seriousness anyone could have done it. The WWF made him a marketing ploy and they could have doen this with anyone at the time. Jesse "The Body" Ventura could have easily been better then Hogan. Randy "Macho Man" Savage is another...
