It's not really the DRS that's at fault though really, it's the 3rd umpire using it that's the massive problem. They seriously need to get a real time Snicko up and running so they can use that throughout the process, would help solve a bunch of issue and piss poor decisions. -

Would be a silly move to not declare at tea, going on to day 3 still batting would essentially write the game off as I just can't see them bowling out England twice extremely cheaply. So Sky Sports News over here is reporting that David Warner was involved in more controversy during the Australia A warmup game as he had to be pulled apart from the wicket keeper after sledging had gone too far. Guy seems like an absolute headcase and a ticking timebomb. -

Easy to say that, but on the flipside we could say that Agar should have been given out stumped which would have made a massive difference too. Saw earlier on Sky Sports that Dar has been moved upto 3rd umpire for next test. Cracking start to the series and hopefully the rest is just as good... -

So did anyone watch? What a days cricket that was. Poor batting display from us given away our wickets (bar root) and looked like we had given the game away already but that fightback in the last session taking the wickets has pulled the tie right back in. -

Call me bitter but I enjoyed watching Ponting go out early in the first innings, hopefully it's a repeat in the second innings. Always seemed like a massive twat when he came over to England.
