    Oh, I wouldn’t argue anything subjective. My mind was just going crazy because it’s like to me I think it actually is objectively a different style of music, so that’s what I was just trying to convey.

    Yeah, I already said that it being before your time doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy. There are people that like all kinds of different styles of music. My point was is that music from the 40s is just stylistically and artistically completely different than almost anything else you’ll hear today...

    And I’m not saying I hated them, either. I liked at least 8-10 of them. The married with children song and New York especially are classics. But outside that I’m just saying I wouldn’t put them on playlists.

    If you didn’t, I wouldn’t give you a hard time. That’s the point. Also, there’s a certain evolution of music where I’d argue music from the late 90s is not too far from how it sounds today, but the difference between their era and the 80s is a lot steeper.
