He probably wasn't pissed off that particular day :lol
We can only pontificate at the end of the day but I feel pretty solid in my reasoning given this man's track record. To think otherwise, I feel, is wishful thinking at best.
That's not even what I'm disputing. I just don't think he gives a fuck how he goes out or how he's perceived by fans. At least not now. He may come around in another few years, or when he's old as shit and is able to gain a new perspective.
He was a grouch when he was in his 20s, so it's pretty easy to imagine how much of a hardass he is now that he's old and relatively broken down. I think some of y'all may be downplaying his level of spitefulness.
Technically, I have no problem with him fighting dudes at all. If it didn't fuck up shows that I love, I couldn't care less. Being that I only watch WWE PLEs, it wouldn't bother me at all if he started a backstage melee and knocked out everyone in Gorilla :lol
While I am firmly in the camp of not caring to see Punk again (and have been since before he ever debuted in AEW, check the record)...
I don't think it's that people want him to be rewarded. I think some people just care less about the backstage stuff than they do about the product they're...
I didn't see that as him saying he'd be paid especially high for wrestling Punk. Just basically "I'll wrestle whoever I'm paid to wrestle".
There is hypothetically more money in working with people of bigger fame, because if the company/business grows, so will your next contract. But idk if...
:whatamark
Nah, that's not really a surprising headline, I would hardly even consider it newsworthy. I'm sure most everyone in every other company, especially the people who aren't in positions of power/influential main eventers, would say the same.
