I raise you this. No Cell, they probably don’t find out you can go beyond a simple Super Sayain :cudi maybe they do with how hard they would’ve likely trained anyway, but who knows. It’s because of Cell that Gohan unlocks SS 2, which let them know that you can keep going further beyond.
