    If you're playing on PC and don't have the VRAM for it, turn off shadow cache too. Should help with the rendering a bit. Didn't have an issue using an 8GB 1080 but apparently it's problematic on 970s and 980s with lower amounts.

    In my experience the optimization is great, the PC port was very well done. Then again, I have a PC that can run pretty much anything, so others experience may vary.

    I'm guessing you hadn't played the demo then either if you're trying to stay blind about the game? The precedent that the demo set was that this game is finally going back to survival horror, and I couldn't be more excited for that.
