Kevin Owens is great but not anywhere near close to what WWE is looking for to be Lesnar. He's a great performer but lacks A. A good enough look (which is extremely important to WWE) B. He's never held a WWE championship C. He hasn't been around long enough.
The only guys that would go over...
I wouldn't consider Lesnar to be "burying" anybody. Also I'm sure he's not involved in much backstage politics on how matches and storylines should go. He's there to do his job and Vince is his boss which he has even stated.
But as far a reasonable opponents to beat him, there is only 2 guys...
