    So why do you care about who wins the war for this reason? Why would someone sit there and say "OMG SONY YES I'M SO GLAD SONY HAS WON THIS WAR?" You get nothing out of it, so why not just enjoy the system?

    The one thing I really don't get is why people are so invested in the company and not the console, it's all "SONY KICKING MICROSOFT'S ASS GO THEM!" or words to a similar ilk, enjoy the quality not the console brand. Now it's about "Microsoft making a comeback" if you aren't an investor in these...

    People overreact, they're so desperate for their side to win that they'll take any minor victory as the shot which ended the war. It happens in sport all the time too, one week you win and you'll dominate the league / playoffs the next you lose and you'll be relegated.
