    I should rephrase that then. What I meant to say was "the online player, who likes sports and shooter games and such with a lot of online features". Must have been a glitch somewhere between brain and keyboard. I apologice. But yeah, The EA sports games are without a doubt big sellers...

    Yes. This is the simplest solution. Xboxone seems to be more geared towards the online players (understandable since Fifa, Madden and such are some of Xbox's biggest cash cows alongside shooters like Halo, Call of Duty and Battlefield). PS4 is more for the "traditional" gamer it seems. Want...

    I think a lot of the issue is based on the fact that you have to connect your console to the internet.     Certain franchises are only on the xbox (Halo, Gears of War & Fable for example) whilst some are only on the playstation (Infamous, Killzone and Little Big Planet for example). Most Triple A games like Assassin's Creed, Batman, Call of Duty, Battlefield and such are going to be on both.

    Most games are available for both systems. It comes down to what exclusives you prefer. You have until Christmas to make up your mind.

    There you go then. You're a sports gamer seemingly so Xbox seems to be the way for you to go from a gaming standpoint. I myself have other gaming tastes and preferences so I am leaning towards Playstation.

    It comes down to the game line ups and what you prefer. A positive of E3 being now and the consoles being released later this year is that we have time to make up our minds and the companies can showcase more to help sway us.

    Neither side has won this war yet since neither side has showcased anything that has made itself the "must have console of the generation". Things are pointing in favor of Sony with the lower price, no DRM and used games support but both companies have until release to show why just their system...
