    the fact that you take such a blase attitude to a kid saying he wants to die and drawing images like that truly shows how fucked up America is if thats considered normal human behaviour by you.

    Neither side is in the right tbf, or in the wrong depending on your perspective. The school needs to review its policies and proceedures, however it also did the right thing in taking action rather than letting it go and potentially manifesting into something worse.
