Looks like Lirano got it together after a horrible start to the season. Can't see there being as many no hitters as there where last year, but with so much time left in the season it could happen.

I think that he was just trying to go out on top, he played long enough and at one point was considered one of the best players in the game, but the last few years really hurt his image. Prob figured he could go out with one more big year.

At this point he's only making a couple million and instead of dealing with getting busted for PED he's just going to bail. Just another thing to taint his legacy on top of just being a giant d bag for the majority of his career.

3 in a row for the Brewers, look a hell of a lot better this week then they did last. Axford seems to have it together, and the team is hitting well. Morgan needs to be a everyday starter though, Gomez is defense only and Morgan gives you something with the bat.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Brewers blow the game in the 9th after Axford gives up 4 runs on a walk off home run. He was the big question mark for me in the offseason, and even though it's one game I still don't have confidence in the guy. Need to pull him out of the role if he starts the...

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Fucking Grenke broke his rib "playing basketball" and is going to start the season on the DL. Needs to get healthy quick as he's going to be a big part of wheter or not the Brewers actually make a run this year.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Surprised there not going to get anything done yet. Pujols has said that if they don't get a contract in place before the start of the season, he's going into FA next year to see what he can get.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Thing is Pujos is going to prob get the 30mil per year to, which means the next guy's gonna want 35-40, and at some point there going to need a cap.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread I see, didn't know they lost a pick. But really it's the Yankees building through the farm system is never going to be there priority, so if they want I guy or need to fill a need they just hit up free agents.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Really not that bad of a deal, so I don't know why Cashman wouldn't want the guy to begin with. They had a shit off season so they need all the help they can get.

Re: MLB 2010-11 Offseason Thread Yankees didn't do shit in free agency so they def need Andy back, especially with how much better the Red Sox got this offseason. Brewers are having one of the nest off seasons this year, and really are bringing themselves to the top of the Central when it...
