I'd agree mostly, but also, I think if he'd win the title, the place to do it would be Chicago, and to be as a transitional reign to MJF

Even once Jericho was face, him wanting to make good with Cody, and waving the stipulation

There was definately a few ways to do it.

Then, loses the belt to Punk at All Out in Chicago, where hopefully there is no Brawl Out. MJF beats Punk for the belt at Full Gear.

Then... If Cody stays, HE is the one to beat Hangman, finally turning heel

Cody loses... Again. Leaving Hanger to win at Full Gear.

Hangman wins, but Cody... shakes his hand. Then towards All Out, like IRL, Hangman teams with Dark Order and loses his #1 spot, leaving it to- Cody, who costs Omega the Impact title against Cage, sort of becomes temp allies with Cage/Jurassic Express, story writes itself

And then Cody and Hangman fight in what feels like a defacto #1 contender's match.
  9. Rosie

So we have PAC and Orange duking it out with Omega like IRL

If it is at All Out, instead, it is Hangman vs Cody at Double or Nothing, babyface vs babyface. Reason why, Hangman loses his #1 spot against PAC. He's depressed, Cody, feeling guilt, wants to extend a branch to him. Hanger rejects it. Cody, who is #1 now, loses to Orange by surprise.

And once all that is done. Then he's able to focus on trying to be world champion... Currently held by his former Elite mate, Kenny. I see two options. Either Kenny vs Cody at Double or Nothing... Or at All Out.

Then, with growing infighting, he'll leave, saying "You need to sort this out. Until then, see you." THEN he challenges for the TNT title, winning it either around All Out, or if he needs to miss that, then after like IRL. Then he holds it until winter is coming, doing his open challenge...

Me playing fantasy booker. I would have first, had the stip be no AEW title matches for one calendar year. Second, I would have had Brodie Lee become the first TNT champion, beating Darby in the finals. Instead, Cody would be involved with the Elite's Stadium Stampede and still with The Elite...

General Chit-Chat Thread - No Spoilers

Honestly, I think what started the problem was two things. First. The stip of never being able to challenge for the AEW title. Short term was fine, but once he did all he could with the TNT title, he quickly ran out of options. The second, just him being sealed off from stuff, especially... The...

Gut Punch (Literally causes a match stopage) Cody (Takes 100)

Then QT turned on the Nightmare family, feud stunk, and Ogogo got hurt by too much too soon + bad booking of the match/story
  17. Rosie

But I think the boos at Revolution were more "We don't want you to win this match + bad booking."
  18. Rosie

Like he got boo'ed after the Shaq match at Revolution in the ladder match, where he had the injury tease.
  19. Rosie

General Chit-Chat Thread - No Spoilers

It was the point I feel Cody verged on to no return for his AEW boos

Ogogo did decent, but the match felt weird
