    Stojy watches WWE 2002

WWE Smackdown May 16th, 2002 Montreal, Canada Of all the things they decide to spend the most time hyping at the beginning of the show, it’s the fact that Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson will be doing battle in a swimsuit contest. Okay. We start things off properly with some Triple H in ring...

    Stojy watches WWE 2002

WWE Raw May 13th, 2002 Toronto, Canada Match One Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs. The Hardy Boyz This was pretty fun to watch without being outstanding. Brock throws them around and dominates, further putting him over, and of course, The Hardyz bump like crazy people. Eventually, The Hardyz turn...

    Stojy watches WWE 2002

Yep, pretty much. I guess it didn't do any real damage in the long term, but didn't make a whole heap of sense. You have a guy fighting like crazy to earn a title shot at a PPV, then you have virtual nobody's getting title shots every week anyway.

    AEW: For The Brand

AEW roster is definitely bloated so I think the split is a good idea. Looking forward to seeing how you establish both shows as different entities, with different traditions and what not, so it still doesn't feel like the same product with different wrestlers. Wishing you the best of luck with this.

    The Star-Maker Podcast

A cool concept here mate for sure. Something new and exciting. The retelling of history angle is a good one, and with things like Brock returning in 2005, and a potential Shelton Benjamin world title run in his prime, you definitely have my attention. Looking forward to this, and wishing you...

    Total Nonstop Action by Stojy

NWA-TNA May 7th, 2003 Nashville, Tennessee The show opens up as expected, with The Asylum at full capacity. The noise is UNBELIEVABLE, the crowd clearly pumped for a big show. As the “TNA” chants from the fans die down, MIKE TENAY AND DON WEST are ready to welcome us to the show and run down...

WWE ~ Where It All Begins Again ~ RAW 4/19/04 ~

Evolution opening promo was solid as a starting point for the show. The “take a look at greatness” being the first line for Triple H is interesting, since Orton used that line during his 2008-2009 WWE title reigns. No idea if that was intentional, but just stood out to me for some reason. All of...

WCW 1995: Let's start a war! World War Three Predictions

Opening the show with the Battle Royal to crown a new US Title challenger sounds like fun. Some nice spots throughout, including some Meng dominance, and the Dungeon of Doom implosion, but the real story here was obviously Flair and Anderson working together until they were the final two. Love...

    Extreme Championship Wrestling by Stojy

ECW Hardcore Heaven May 13th, 2001 Milwaukee, Wisconsin The Rave This is ECW, do we ever open up a pay per view in a standard fashion? Not likely. Instead, we open up the show with The Rave jam packed, a couple of hundred people crammed into the small venue, however the people aren’t happy...

    AEW: Hurting The Business

Shane McMahon penciled in to appear makes sense. Looking forward to seeing how you handle his first appearance on AEW for sure.

WWE 2004 : Where The rant and stojy Partnership Begins Again

Few things. I'm not overly happy with this first show but have some pretty good plans that I should be able to build into as I go. Also, a version of this show was written years ago, and some of the match recaps had a lot of detail in them. Wouldn't expect too much of that for future shows...

    World Wrestling Federation: It's SHOWTIME

Ah what glorious memories. Enjoyed reading through this again. This is the last thing I truly remember from this BTB, so looking forward to reading on from here. Very hypocritical thing for me of all people to say but post more frequently please.

WWE Heat May 12th, 2002 Hartford, Connecticut We start with the ‘GET THE F OUT’ ad, as Heat is the last show to officially air under the new banner. Yay. Match One WWE Intercontinental Championship Match Eddie Guerrero (c) vs. Tommy Dreamer One thing that I always found strange about...

    Stojy watches WWE 2002

WWE Smackdown May 9th, 2002 Bridgeport, Connecticut The show opens with Stacy Keibler making her way to the ring to perform her assistant duties, which means she introduces Vince McMahon, who then also comes out. McMahon starts off by praising Stacy for being a model employee, before saying...

    Stojy watches WWE 2002

Haha never really thought of that before, I'm sure Vince was cackling away behind the scenes. Things have slowed down in here because of work and stuff, but determined to get through this. Good to have you on board.

WWE 2004 : Where The rant and stojy Partnership Begins Again

Vinnie Mac promo announcing the draft next week was really well written. Got to the point, hyped it nicely, anybody up for grabs and all that jazz. The added touch of Bischoff and his flunkies freaking out when they heard Vinnie Mac was here, and then showing their reaction during the Vince...

    WWF 2000 - The McMahon-Helmsley Era

I didn’t mind opening the show here with Cactus and honestly there were bits of the promo here I liked and bits I thought could have been better. When Cactus was getting intense and talking about being violence incarnate, DX gauntlet being set up, and the overall direction heading to a most...
