    To be honest with you, my metabolism is ridiculously high so I can shred weight real easily. But considering how much weight I cut I start 10 days prior to a fight. It's really not hard to shred 3.5 pounds in a day if you're really active.

    Interesting little article here. Speaking as a fighter myself, I don't mind the weight cutting process (going so far as to cut 35 pounds before a fight) but I can imagine that after a while the longevity would get to you.
