    Kind of glad this fight is official, would love it if Weidman knocked Silva down and took the championship but i just can't see it happening.

    Was just reading some details of this, and i guess Aldo asked for a Lightweight title fight if he defeats Pettis this Summer, Dana apparently accepted those conditions.

    Dana just tweeted saying the fight between the two was official, so whatever was stopping Aldo from taking the fight earlier is no longer an issue obviously.

    I'm confused by it just because at the UFC 156 Post Fight Presser last month Aldo said he'd enjoy a fight with Pettis if it was offered. Also thrown off by it because i didn't think Aldo was one to refuse a fight.
