Both very great, but yeah. Not sure it’s the same

They have some parallels, especially NXT Bray. Bearded well dressed man, acts kind teaching love and tolerance while also being creepy and sadistic, with a heavy and perhaps some cultish overtones. Themes, while Gacy's is more grunge, has similar vibes to his original. The biggest difference is the Left-wing parody that Gacy has. Though both characters have their strengths.
