WWE 2019: Let’s Get Wild

Disclaimer
It’s nearly time for me to be able to start a new btb, and I am sticking with the 2019 post-Mania era WWE BTB. I have really really really planned this out thanks to some beyond awesome advice from Roy Mustang.

Post Mania News & Notes

Future Direction of the Company
The Night After Mania episode of Monday Night RAW has always had a few shocks and surprises. The Co-Chairman and Co-Chairwoman of World Wrestling Entertainment. That being Shane and Stephanie McMahon have revealed that the 2019 edition of NAM will be one to remember. As not only will it see some debuts of superstars from NXT, but it will also deliver the plans for the future direction of the company going forward.

Co-Branded Champions
As long as Becky Lynch© has both the WWE RAW Women’s and WWE Smackdown Women’s Championships she will appear on both brand’s shows. The same can be said for Tony Nese as long as he holds the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. As well as the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, the Iconics©.

Requested Releases
The likes of Luke Harper, Sasha Banks and The Revival have all reportedly requested their releases. However, the company has refused all of these requests in a way of stating they don’t think it’s the right time to do so.

The Glamazon has Returned
WWE Hall of Famer the “Glamazon” Beth Phoenix made her return to the ring at WrestleMania 35. By taking part in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by reforming the Divas of Doom with Natalya Neidhart. They were unsuccessful in their attempt to claim the gold; however, the word backstage is that Phoenix will be appearing more frequently.

End of Saudi-WWE Deal
The biggest development coming out of the showcase of the immortals that being WrestleMania. Is that the company has been forced to bring their deal with the country of Saudi Arabia to an abrupt conclusion. Due to increased pressure from their sponsors and as a result of this the company will be doing more house shows and possibly ppvs to counteract the loss of income from the deal.

Injuries at Mania
As we all know the injury bug can and will strike at unpredictable times and that is just the case. As both the Tuesday Night Smackdown tag team roster, and Women’s tag team roster have both taken hits. In the forms of Samoan Slaughterhouse member Nia Jax with two ACL tears. And one half of the tag team known as the Bar, as Sheamus has aggravated old injuries to his back and both he and Jax will be go for the foreseeable future.

A Trio of Departures
Finally a trio of superstars have finished up with the company with two of them coming as a shock and the other not so much, with the first being Dean Ambrose. Ambrose has decided to go and see what else there is going on the world of professional wrestling. Whereas the second depature is Goldust who hasn't been used in any storylines recently and as a result has decided to leave the company. The third and final one should not shock anyone as it concerns Lars Sullivan a man who has reportedly gotten on the bad side of the wrong people and as a result he has been let go.
